How do I list my unit for resale?
Short answer
Send the Ahlan Homes team the unit's details, photos and asking price. Every listing is checked before it goes live, and your phone number is never shown on the site.
A resale listing starts with the unit itself: the compound it belongs to, the unit type, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the built area in square metres. For a villa or a townhouse, add the plot area. For a flat, a duplex or a studio, add the floor. Then give the asking price, which is the cash amount you want now.
What do I need to give the team if I still owe the developer?
If the unit was bought on instalments, the listing needs three figures: the balance still owed to the developer, the amount of each instalment, and how often one falls due, in months (1, 3, 6 or 12). A buyer reads these before anything else, because they show what the next owner will take on after the purchase. If you have already paid a down payment, say so as well. It does not change the asking price, but it helps the buyer understand the plan.
What does the listing show about the unit's condition?
The listing records the delivery status as ready, under construction, or off-plan, and the finishing as fully finished, semi-finished, core and shell, or luxury. Amenities, a description in English or Arabic, and photos are optional but help the listing. The first photo becomes the cover. Photos are uploaded to the Ahlan Homes media library, so they must be clear images of the unit itself, not a copy of a sales brochure.
Who checks the listing before a buyer sees it?
Nothing goes live on the strength of the form alone. Every resale listing is filed under review, and it appears on the website only after a member of the Ahlan Homes team has checked the details and published it. The team may ask you to correct a figure before that happens. Until it is published, the listing is not visible to visitors.
Is my phone number shown on the website?
No. The owner's name and phone number are kept for the team only. They are not printed on the listing page, and they do not appear in any document sent to a buyer. A buyer who wants to make an offer is put in touch through the team, so the owner is never contacted directly by a stranger from the website.
Can I change the listing or take it down?
Yes. If the price, a figure or a photo changes, send the correction to the team and it will be updated. If you want to withdraw the unit, ask for it in writing and the listing will be removed from the website, together with its unit page. One exception applies: if a buyer is in the middle of booking the unit at that moment, the removal waits until the booking is finished, so the buyer is not left without an answer.
What should I send first?
Send the compound name, the unit type and its size, the asking price, the remaining balance if there is one, and two or three clear photos. Missing details do not stop a listing, but they delay it, because the team must ask for each one. The sooner the details arrive complete, the sooner the unit can be shown to buyers.
