Instalment calculator

Enter a price, pick a down payment and the number of years, and see what each instalment comes to.

How the instalment is worked out

The down payment is a percentage of the price, paid on signing. The rest is split evenly across the instalments — monthly, every three months, every six months or once a year — for the number of years in the plan. Developers in Egypt most often quote quarterly instalments. Some plans also hold part of the price back to handover, and most add a maintenance deposit on top; the plan on each unit page shows both.

Instalment calculator: frequently asked questions

Does a longer plan cost more?

On this calculator, no: the price stays the same and is spread over more instalments. Some developers price longer plans higher, which is why the plans on each unit page are priced against that unit.

Is the maintenance deposit included?

No. Maintenance is a separate payment, a percentage of the price paid at or before handover; each unit's plan shows it on its own line.

What is a cash discount?

Some developers offer a lower price for paying in full on signing. Where a compound has one, its unit pages show the cash price beside the instalment plans.

Can the down payment itself be paid in instalments?

Some plans split it over the first months. This calculator treats it as one payment; a consultant can tell you what a given developer accepts.
